Business Development Rep – Full-time
Mixtur Interactive is an outsource marketing firm that helps technology, green and consumer companies grow through marketing research, planning and program execution services. We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious full-time Business Development Rep to find and develop relationships with new clients for our Virtual Marketing Team and project-based services.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a track record of sales success for a technology company or agency. Effective written and verbal communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to generate leads; identify and connect with prospects; develop new business presentations; and effectively network at area events. This individual will work directly with the senior team in all areas of new business development from prospecting to closing new business.
Duties:
- Develop and manage prospect pipeline.
- Research new prospects and their competitors thoroughly.
- Develop and coordinate new business presentations.
- Help close and grow new business.
- Maintain expertise of industry and competitors.
- Identify and attend networking events.
- Manage required weekly and monthly reporting and metrics.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years' of sales, business development or marketing programs experience in a fast-paced agency or technology company
- Experience with and/or not afraid of cold calling (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of the marketing discipline
- Keen understanding of marketing tools and technology trends
- Solid knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office software applications, and CRM applications (e.g. SugarCRM, Salesforce.com)
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline
- Great sense of humor
- High energy personality

- Strong interpersonal skills
Mixtur Interactive offers a base and commission compensation package. Candidate will work out of Mixtur's beautiful office on Bainbridge Island, located within steps of the Seattle/Bainbridge ferry terminal.
